Stage 5 · Flavouring
The work between a formula on paper and a drink your customer wants a second time. We blend it on the bench, fix what does not work in the mix, develop the flavour and mask what needs masking, then send you a sample to approve before anything is scheduled for production. Powdered drink mixes.
Actives rarely taste of nothing. Flavouring is where a correct formula becomes a drink somebody finishes: we blend your formula on our own bench, work on solubility and mouthfeel, develop the flavour with our flavour house and mask what needs masking, then produce a sample on our own line and send it to you to sign off. Nothing goes near a production schedule until you have tasted it and approved it. This service is for powdered drink mixes.
A short brief form arrives by email as soon as you order. Your project starts the moment it comes back.
15 to 20 working days from when your brief arrives, never from purchase. The range is set by the flavour house and by raw material availability.
How many rounds are included?
One sampling round. Further rounds are quoted when the first one lands, because how many you need depends on what that first sample tells us.
What if the actives fight the flavour?
That is the normal case, and it is the reason this work exists. Masking, mouthfeel and solubility get worked together, because moving one of them moves the other two.
Can you match a competitor product?
Send it to us. Matching a taste somebody has already made is usually faster than building one from a description.
